Job Summary:
West Tennessee Legal Services, Inc (WTLS) represents clients in civil legal matters and works with community organizations and client groups in 21 counties in West Tennessee. Our intake department is the first contact people make with WTLS. The intake staff interview people in need of services to determine eligibility, gather case facts, identify legal problems, and screen for benefits eligibility. We receive a high volume of calls, and this position requires a highly motivated worker who enjoys talking with and helping people. Ability to speak Spanish is strongly required for this position.

West Tennessee Legal Services offers a reduced fee program for private attorneys benefiting low-income residents in West Tennessee. WTLS is able to pay private attorneys up to $125 an hour for cases.
